Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Cyprus Q4 2021

During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top five maps and navigation apps on the Android platform in Cyprus showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and revenue. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the trends and usage patterns of these apps over the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a consistent number of weekly downloads, ranging from around 365 to 628. The highest downloads were recorded in the first week of the quarter with 628, while it saw a slight dip mid-quarter, and closed the quarter with approximately 397 downloads in the last week of December.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation experienced fluctuating download numbers, peaking at 480 downloads in the first week of October. Despite a downward trend towards the end of the quarter, it maintained a steady weekly revenue of around $1 to $2.

Moovit: Bus & Train Schedules initially had stable downloads, starting with around 389 downloads weekly. However, a noticeable decline was observed towards the end of the quarter, with downloads dropping to 124 in the final week of December.

Real live maps 2.0 showed a significant spike in downloads early in the quarter, reaching 1.6K in the first week of October, but then experienced a sharp decline, ending with 64 downloads in the last week of October.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had fairly steady download numbers throughout the quarter. The app started with 254 downloads and saw a peak of 302 in mid-November, before tapering off to 177 downloads in the last week of December.
